what is FP_NO_HOST_CHECK?

This is probably not the place for this question but unfortunately I don't
know where is. Hopefully, someone has an answer to this. I have noticed the
environment variable FP_NO_HOST_CHECK on my WinXP (but not Win2K3) system
and was wondering what it means, what is it used for?

Seems you have some specific platform sdk installed, there is no such with
core PSDK I have on my computer

Sounds like a FrontPage eviromental variable to me.
